School Curriculum

At Stanburn, we believe that the National Curriculum is a starting point for developing exciting and stimulating learning. We understand that children learn best when they are inspired and learning is memorable. Each half term, every year group takes a theme and learning is planned around this. The start of each theme is brought to life with practical, hands-on activities to promote engagement.

The Curriculum Maps detail what each year group will be learning in each subject term by term.
Curriculum newsletters are sent out half termly to parents about what pupils will be learning.

Further queries can be answered by class teachers in the first instance, or directed the school office.
