Girls Football at Stanburn
This Thursday Stanburn held its first Girls’ Football Training session of the season. This is the first all-girls football club we have had here at Stanburn - ensuring we meet our pledge to show we are committed to growing girls’ football in 2021/22 through providing girls equal access to:
- Learn through football in PE lessons,
- Participate in girls only football sessions,
- Compete in girls’ football school fixtures/competitions.
The girls had a brilliant time and said, “I really enjoyed our first training session and playing a match because it fun and we learnt new skills.” Zainab - 6 Platinum.
