Year 3 trip to Chiltern Open Air Museum

On Thursday 15th and Friday 16th November Year 3 visited The Chiltern Open Air Museum. The children were able to experience what life was like in the Stone Age and the Iron Age. The children made shelters and a fire, created some cave art pictures and went hunting and gathering for food during the Stone Age workshop. In the Iron Age workshop, the children visited an Iron Age house to make clay pots, flat breads and butter. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and it consolidated their learning. The Year 3 children were complimented on their behaviour and their knowledge about the Stone and Iron Age.
