Year 6 class assemblies

Both 6Pebble and 6Dove have recently performed their class assemblies, in front of an audience of Year 6 pupils and parents. 6Pebble delivered a poignant class assembly with some important messages about Armistice Day. This was tied in with their learning with their key text—Toby Alone. There was some fantastic acting and singing from our pupils - well done!

6Dove also delivered some important messages, about the United Nations Universal Children’s Day (20th November). The children talked about children’s rights globally, recognising how these rights can be respected. They recognise the link with these and our school values, and the Rights Rangers talked about their plans for the school continue on its journey from Silver: Rights Aware Award, towards the Gold: Rights Respecting Award.
