Governance and Committee Structure 2023/24

The governors at Stanburn Primary School play an integral role in supporting the school whilst also holding it accountable. We are very lucky to have dedicated and committed governors who work exceptionally hard to ensure standards remain high and the school our pupils receive the very best educational experience on offer.

The Governing Board Consists of 13 Governors:

• 1 - Head teacher
• 1 - Elected Staff Governor (Elected by staff)
• 1 - Local Authority Governor
• 6 - Parent Governors (Elected by parents)
• 2 - Community governors (Co-opted by the Local Governing Board)
• 1 - Associate Governor

The Governing Board has two additional committees:

• Finance, Premises & Personnel
• Performance Management & Salaries
