Message from Radish:

Please find below our updated allergen matrix for the current menu. A change in recipe has resulted in the allergen information changing as well.

This only affects one item - the chick pea patty; it is highlighted on the allergen matrix in order to find it more easily.

We are proud to announce that following the Food Hygiene inspectors visit last week, our kitchen has been awarded a 5* rating yet again! We are sure you will join us in congratulating Claire and her team for all their hard work in the kitchen! Thank you to Claire and her team.

Good news! Hot school meals are returning, Tuesday 3rd November 2020!

Please see attachments at the bottom of the page for menus and allergen information.

Food For Life Silver Award

Our new hot meal providers, Radish, have recently been inspected by the Soil Association.
We are pleased to announce that following this, they have been given their Silver Award under their 'Food for life served here' scheme.
This scheme addresses many of the food quality issues that concern us all. It ensures meals are made up of seasonal, traceable, healthier, sustainable and fresh ingredients, free from trans fats and nasty additives.
The Food For Life Served Here Award has been cited by NHS England as a way to improve hospital food, and by the Department for Education as a national framework to support caterers to increase uptake of quality school meals.
Congratulations to all at Radish, and another big thank you to our great team in the kitchen at SPS!
